Guests More Likely to Stay and Recommend if Engaged via Social Media

Market research firm Chadwick Martin Bailey recently published a new report that would suggest engaging with your guests via social media will improve your hotel’s business. The stats indicate that over 50% of all people connected with your hotel via social media are more likely to stay at your hotel and over 60% are more likely to recommend your hotel to others.

Hotel Prices on Google Maps!

Many hotel consumers use google maps as a tool to find places to stay. By zooming in to a specific location and searching for the word ‘hotel’, google maps will display all the listed hotels in that area. Now google is developing a pricing system whereby the user can input a date and number of nights and be supplied with a price for each hotel on the map. The project has reached the testing stage and is likely to be rolled out in the near future.

The emails will be sent weekly and include information on the number of fans who have joined that week, the number of wall posts, comments and likes as well as the total number of visits to the page.
