Google To Buy Travel Software Maker?

Google are currently in discussions to aquire Travel Software maker ITA. It is thought the online giant could use ITA Software’s tools to compete with travel-search features offered by rivals Microsoft. ITA Software could request around $1 billion for their aquisition by Google, who have already announced 6 takeovers this year.

Facebook Links Profiles With Pages

Facebook are in the process of rolling out new profile features which will allow users to display the pages they’re connected to as ‘likes or interests’. Google Enables Tweet Time Machine

Google have just activated a new improvement to their real-time search function. Starting from today, users will not only be able to search all the real-time content out there (from Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and Buzz) but will be able to sort the tweets by the time at which they were posted. This handy new feature will allow users to see what people were talking about at a specific moment in time as far back as the first tweet on March 21st 2006.
