Many hotel consumers use google maps as a tool to find places to stay. By zooming in to a specific location and searching for the word ‘hotel’, google maps will display all the listed hotels in that area. Now google is developing a pricing system whereby the user can input a date and number of nights and be supplied with a price for each hotel on the map. The project has reached the testing stage and is likely to be rolled out in the near future.
